LEADERSHIP TRAINING

Much of our work as coaches involves supporting professionals as they develop the skills needed to progress. This is true of managers or senior associates looking to "step-up" or of partners who want to lead differently.  However, we don't stop there...

All of our training delivers experiential learning to help drive behaviour change. When working with professionals and thinking about how they can become leaders in their firms, we often turn to the skills we have as coaches. Coaching is grounded in the belief that the answer to most things lies with the individual themselves. We provide the challenge to help individuals find it.

We have teamed up with Coaching On the Go to help professionals understand what they do well, what they can improve on, and crucially, how their environment might be getting in the way. In addition, we provide coaching programmes to help leaders develop their Emotional Intelligence, reflect on what leadership means to them, and to help them build the human-skills needed to become courageous leaders.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

​Our coaching programmes start with what you would like to be different as a result of participants having worked with us.  They comprise the key components of self-awareness, emotional intelligence and an understanding of the key human skills that need to be developed.

Leadership programme​

  • How we lead ourselves. Self-awareness is the foundation of coaching and of emotional intelligence. It can provide insights into why we are how we are and can improve our ability to get the most from diverse teams.

  • A focus on what it means to be a high performing team. What do leaders need to do to deliver better results for their firm and for the firm's clients?

  • How we lead clients? Clients want more. In order to be a trusted advisor, professionals need to deliver more than just technical excellence, they need to provide added value and lead for the future.

  • The future is uncertain. Business is no longer focused purely on profit. This requires a shift in mindset. We work with leaders to think about what that means for them.

A course designed for your female talent, based on the latest research.

Group coaching has been shown to have particular benefits for female progression. Our programme has been designed to empower women to lead with female energy, not to change their style to fit the current model of leadership. This is what drives change for men and women!

Coaching focuses on behavioural change. Working with your leaders we can create a space where they can explore who they are, as well as who they want and need to be. Often we are caught in traps of our own making. Coaching gives us the freedom to experiment, and in turn drives change.

Confidence is faith in our abilities to do something. Both men and women can struggle with imposter syndrome, fear of not being good enough, and negative self-talk.  Most training courses overlook this! Coaching enables us to be aware of our inner diaglogue  - and control it!

We focus on collaborative leadership.  This focus on collaboration fosters a culture where individuals in teams take more responsibility for their actions and which increases motivation across all levels.

There is a reason why coaching is big business - it works!  Our leadership programmes combine group coaching with 1:1 coaching. This means that participants learn from each other and have the opportunity to work with a coach to explore the areas that are the most important to them.

​Client Talk delivers a range of learning journeys which aim to give professionals the skills that they don't learn in University, or in their professional training. We focus on influence, trust, empathy and the other human (or soft) skills needed to succeed in today's changing world.

Each firm, and each cohort within a firm, has different requirements.  We work with firms to find a solution that fits, whether that is a 1:1 approach, a bespoke offering, or something that is more "ready-to-go".
